# Creator and affiliate responsibilities

## Creators own

* Which offers are eligible for promotion and what terms apply.
* The customer promise, price, delivery, refund policy, and promotion assets.
* Accurate tax, identity, and payout information required for the account.
* Support for the offer and timely review of suspicious or disputed activity.

## Affiliates own

* Using approved links and truthful promotion language.
* Following the creator offer rules and applicable advertising requirements.
* Maintaining an eligible payout destination and completing required verification.
* Avoiding self-referrals, misleading claims, and attempts to rewrite attribution.

## LevelSell owns

The platform owns attribution decisions, commission state, payout eligibility, ledger entries, and reversal handling. User-facing dashboards display returned state; they do not calculate or mint money.
